Loggerhead sea turtles are in serious trouble.

That shouldn't come as a shock when you consider the dangers they face: climate change, destructive fishing practices in their foraging areas, loss of nesting habitat. All of this plus the oil in the Gulf will cause long term harm to loggerheads.

Loggerhead sea turtles could get stronger protections that will help them survive many of the challenges they face, including the pollution from the BP oil disaster. But we need to increase our campaign efforts.
